
Dance Attire
All students should have all dance attire & shoes acquired prior to the start of the first class.
No shirts or baggy clothing will be allowed over dance wear during class time
Due to durability & uniformity - All shoes must be of the Leo, Revolution or Capezio brand
No jewelry or cell phones allowed in class.
Positively no bare feet or stocking feet will be permitted in class. All students are required to wear the above proper dance wear. Please come to class with the proper dance and foot wear, what the student wears on their body and feet is extremely important to their dance training, spotting by the teacher and support to prevent dance injury.
Hair must be tied back and off of the face.

- Black leotard – tank, short, or long sleeve

- Pink leather ballet shoes – full sole for beginner and intermediate, split sole for intermediate advanced, advanced, & professional level
- White leather tap shoes – beginner, intermediate level
- Black leather split sole tap oxford – intermediate advanced, advanced, professional level

- White jazz oxfords – full sole – beginner level
- Black jazz oxfords – full sole – intermediate level

- Black Gore Boot – senior level and dance company
- Beige Lyrical Sandal – Modern/Lyrical class
- Illusion Foot Paws/Pads – Contemporary

- Black boys/mens oxfords – Tap
- Black jazz oxford – Jazz
- White tank or fitted shirt
- Black cutoffs or basketball shorts
PLEASE NOTE:To ensure proper fit, quality, and uniformity - all shoes, dancewear and accessories are to be purchased through the school store and take advantage of your discount. If you received dancewear as a gift, check with Miss Pam prior to your class.
Color week: During the last week of each month is color week. This allows the students to wear items of different colors and designs that are not listed as the required dance wear colors. Gives them the opportunity to wear items they received as gifts from friends and family.
Studio Policies: To guarantee the steady progress of our students, class placement is based on age, training, and ability given to each dance and twirling phase. Promotion is considered on the basis of individual achievement and the teachers discretion.
Attendance: Regular attendance is essential for your dance progress. Please do not be tardy for your class to avoid distraction of the lesson by others. A portion of class is review time from the previous lesson. Please notify the studio if the student will not be in class at their specified time, and the reason for the absence. Private students are required to notify the studio in the morning of their scheduled time.
Make ups: Students missing two consecutive lessons due only to illness or if studio closes due to weather or any other emergency will be given a make up lesson. Parents must contact the studio in case of absence. No Phone Call – No Make up!! Make ups can not be re-scheduled if the student misses their make up class, and will be charged accordingly.
Conduct: Students are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly, courteous, and respectful manner while in class and /or waiting for their class. Please refrain from noise in a loud manner while in the waiting room due to sound filtration into the classrooms. Students are to come to class prepared with shoes, proper dance wear, and a 3 ring binder.
Note: Binders are for students 2nd grade and up.
Please have your shoes already on for your first class when called into the dance room.
